Property rights offer start-ups the opportunity to protect intellectual property and new creations or to exclude third parties from commercialisation. This includes patents, utility models, trade marks, designs and companies.

Our patent information centre at the EAH Jena is at your disposal for all questions relating to intellectual property rights (patents, utility models, designs, trademarks, companies). This includes a patent library with extensive stocks of patent full texts, search resources and information services as well as invention counselling by regional patent attorneys.

Together with local patent attorneys, we offer free, personalised and confidential advice on protecting and designing products and services. People interested in founding a company, entrepreneurs, inventors and scientists interested in technology transfer can clarify how they can protect the expertise that will determine the future of the company. During the 30-minute session, your case will be discussed and your questions clarified.
