We need the following information to check your proposal and purchase the book (or any other material):
- Title
- Author / editor
- Publisher
- Year of publication
- ISBN
Would you like to borrow the item directly after we purchased it? Tell us your user number (3406...) on the back of your thoska (library card). That way we can reserve the item for you.

No, the costs for the purchase are completely covered by the library of the University of Applied Sciences Jena.
We welcome suggestions for acquisitions and endeavor to meet your needs. Each suggestion is checked in detail to see whether it fits in with our collection and whether there are any alternatives that we already own. In this way, we try to use our budget as efficiently as possible. For this reason, we cannot guarantee that your suggested book will purchased.
It can take several weeks to check, acquire and incorporate a new book into our collection, depending on its availability.
We recommend to order an item via interlibrary loan if you need it at short notice. Please note our interlibrary loan regulations.
