The Bachelor's degree programme in Nursing qualifies you for versatile tasks in the following dynamically developing professional fields:

  • Nursing specialist: competent design of complex nursing, counselling and care situations for patients and relatives.
  • Health management: selection and application of health-promoting, preventive, palliative and rehabilitative measures (e.g. training, pain management, needs-oriented care)
  • Quality management: development of guidelines, standards; design and evaluation of nursing processes
  • Nursing expert
  • Care management: discharge management, disease management, case management
  • Nursing research

Your career opportunities

Your tasks:

  • Assignment as a nursing specialist in one of our departments for: Intensive and anaesthesia care, trauma surgery,neurocentre, spinal cord injury or geriatric traumatology.
  • Supporting the nursing team in the assurance and further development of quality-promoting measures (after the induction phase), in accordance with your nursing science training
  • Direct cooperation and collaboration with our staff member in the "Nursing Science Staff Office".

Your tasks:

  • Basic and treatment care
  • Participation in the scientific further development of nursing care concepts or the establishment of a new area (inpatient neurological rehabilitation)
  • Taking responsibility for holistic, process-oriented patient care
  • Target-oriented cooperation with all professional groups involved in the nursing process
  • Organisation of work processes taking into account economic aspects
  • Compliance with the applicable hygiene regulations
  • Assumption of inter-professional tasks

Your tasks:

  • Professional nursing care within the framework of the nursing process 
  • Patient and family education and counselling 
  • Cooperation in the interdisciplinary team  
  • Establishment and development of evidence-based care standards and care structures
