Bachelor of Science
The Bachelor's degree programme is a training-integrated programme. Studies and training are coordinated in terms of organisation and content. The study programme comprises 8 semesters and consists of two study sections. With the successful completion, the internationally recognised academic degree Bachelor of Science, 240 ECTS are awarded.
First study section 1st - 6th semester
180 ECTS points in 16 modules and 6 practical phases (1,960 hours in teaching rescue stations and 720 hours in hospitals). The practical phases can be completed in cooperating institutions. The first part of the course ends with the state examination to qualify as an emergency paramedic.
Second study section 7th - 8th semester
60 ECTS points in 6 modules incl. 2 compulsory elective modules, which serve to deepen, concretise and expand previously acquired competences and knowledge content and can be taken according to the students' interests. The second part of the study programme ends successfully with the Bachelor's thesis (B.Sc.).
