Direct contact with the sponsored students

• You support high-performing and committed students and have direct contact with your sponsored students.
• In addition to financial support, you have the opportunity to make non-material offers and arouse interest in your company or foundation at an early stage.

Networking

• Make your company or organisation better known to students.
• Become part of the network of the University of Applied Sciences Jena: Deutschlandstipendium offers interesting contacts.
• Present yourself at the scholarship ceremony and get in touch with the university management and department representatives of the University of Applied Sciences Jena.

Public relations

• Your sponsorship will be recognised as part of our press and public relations work, e.g. on our website, in the social media and at the annual scholarship ceremony.
• You are welcome to use the Deutschlandstipendium logo to publicise your commitment.

Selection of scholarship holders

• Select the subject area in which the scholarship you are sponsoring will be awarded.
• The University of Applied Sciences Jena will select the recipients for you and ensure a fair and transparent awarding procedure.

Not to forget

• By supporting social commitment, you strengthen the region of Jena and Thuringia.
• The Deutschlandstipendium is recognised as a non-profit organisation and is tax-deductible.

You can participate in the scholarship programme with as little as 1,800 euros per year. Your contribution will be doubled by the federal government so that the scholarship holder you sponsor will receive 300 euros per month. The funding period is at least one year and begins in the winter semester (1 October of each year).
