Your fields of application include the optics industry, laser technology, laser development and application, information and communication technology, optoelectronics, electronics, computer technology, medical and environmental technology, biotechnology and fields related to optics. Due to the international recognition of the Bachelor's degree, there are very good opportunities for you to start your career not only in Germany, but also abroad. The short duration of study (3 years) and the international orientation already during the course of study are advantageous. The industry thus has a young, solidly trained specialist at its disposal.
Your career opportunities
Your tasks:
- Development of strategic laser processes for the group of companies
- Independent planning, execution and documentation of tests to determine and optimise process parameters
- Transfer of results from the laboratory to our production machines
- Determining the requirements for machine technology and processing optics on the basis of these results
- Process commissioning as part of the in-house machine acceptance test
- Support of commissioning at the customer's site
- Support of our customers within the scope of second level support
Your tasks:
- Concept and further development of current automotive sensor setups (radar, camera, ultrasound, laser) in the series application of modern driver assistance systems (ADAS) and in the context of autonomous driving.
- Communication with various stakeholders (developers, customers, system managers, etc.)
- Formulation and elaboration of specific requirements for the developers
- Coordination of the requirements with the stakeholders and support of the implementation up to series production readiness
- Analysis and evaluation of various sensor systems with regard to their performance in relation to the specified requirements.
Your tasks:
- The assembly and initial commissioning of special machines in the field of laser technologies
- Maintenance and repair work on machines and systems
- Service work on special machines in the office and in the field
- In addition, setting up and operating systems in our contract manufacturing as required
